I have stuffed up!!

grr I am really annoyed. I tried uploading a cool background on my blog.. but when I changed it back it then changed some of my information! arrhhhh

I guess when they suggest you backup your background there is a reason behind it lol.

It ended up being a simple adjustment to some settings!

May i also suggest that when we are looking at changing our templetes we read the comments that other users have posted as it is likely they had the same problem lol!

LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES!!

This week we looked at delicious and the things that this website offered.

We found that this webpage allowed the users to bookmark sites that the user was interested in. This was an interesting way of finding all types of interesting, random and unusal webpages.

I think this website is awesome. I am very fond of using bookmarks but i find it hard because i am always switching between computers. Delicious saves my book marks online so that i can use my bookmarks on any computer! It will be really cool when i want to show my mates things and i dont have to remember the web adress just my log in and password!

Flickr is an awesome website! I have sevral photos on my flickr page and these can be seen by clicking on the link above or checking out my slideshow on my Home page!

The main thing that sets flickr apart from all the other image upload sites is the quality of the images!

Its a handy website to know about!

Interestingness

This is how flickr likes to grade the images that are uploaded. The grade is baised on how interesting the image is. This allows users to find the better images that people have elected to be intersting.

Google and Google to Blogger

Week 2
we had a closer look at google and what google had to offer



I was aware that some of these features were available to access through Google. I am a regular user of the Google search engine, image and map searches. Ive never really taken the time to really have a good look at the cool features that Google have.

Gmail -
I have only used Gmail checking emails for my brother, I never really explored much. I did like the features that Gmail did offer but has loads of stuff that was cool but i wouldn't use. One thing i really do like is the ability to be able to chat with other contacts through the browser. The only other thing i have seen like this is Face book. I would possibly use the Calender in Gmail and i like that you can subscribe to other calenders as well i think it would be really handy and a good way to sync calenders with someone else. i do think that Gmail is becoming much more popular and is quickly overtaking Hotmail.

Google Maps -
i think this is an awesome feature i think soon that GPS Should use Google Maps. i like that the have the different views of the streets and my favorite part is the satelite view which enables us to see a photo of the location.

Google Videos -
I've never seen this feature before but thought it was really cool. Google Videos allow users to upload videos to share with friends and everyone else who is interested.

Overall i think google is awesome i use the search engine I have always used google and i have found that no other search engine has ever matched Google.
